The 1988 Salazar played with the Blue Jays at short-season St. Catharines. However, that Salazar was born in 1966, according to his card at COMC.com. The 1990 Salazar was born in 1970.
Then the credited 1995 time at high-A Stockton appears to also be a different Luis Salazar. Baseball Reference has another Luis Salazar playing there in 1996, one born in 1974, suggesting the 1995 and 1996 Salazars are the same.
While another Luis Salazar played independent ball from 2003 to 2005, credited as the same Stockton Salazar, that independent ball Salazar also does not appear to be the Bristol Salazar.
